Contact Lenses

A Whole New World

Contact lenses come in a variety of forms and we will endeavour to choose the most suitable and comfortable lens for you. Contacts can be monthly, fortnightly or daily wear lenses, chosen generally depending on how often contacts will be worn. They also vary in type depending on vision, for example normal spheres, toric lenses. If you would like to find out any further information regarding contact lenses please feel free to contact us and book in for an appointment or request an appointment time via this website.

We will also advise beforehand what benfits you may receive from your private health fund for the cost of your frame and/or lenses.

Some people will use their contact lenses all the time, others just for sport or social occasions. Whatever your choice, we are here to help you.

If this is your first time wearing contact lenses we will guide you through a trial lens fit. We'll teach you how to insert your lens and remove them yourself and we also give instruction about lens hygiene and care.

It's important to make sure that your eyes remain in good health and that your contact lenses remain a comfortable and appropriate fit for your eye. We'll go through this with you at your regular follow-up appointments

We will also advise beforehand what benefits you may receive from Medicare for the cost of your lenses.
